interfaceNode

The Atkin Engineering interfaceNode is a Wireless RS-485 bridge that provides bridging connections between RS-485, WiFi and USB for various control devices.

The interfaceNode is powered by 12/24 VDC with protections to ± 40 VDC and is AEC-Q100 Qualified

RS-485 data lines are protected against EDP, EFT Surge and ±70 VDC bus fault tolerent. The USB is also isolated, giving superior performance and safety charistics.

expanderPDU

The Atkin Engineering expanderPDU is a vehicle expansion module, with the following features.

  • 16x Active High/Low selectable inputs, rated to 12/24 VDC
  • 8x 16bit Analogue Inputs, rated to 17.5 VDC
  • 24x Open Collector Outputs with PWM & Blink (12x with Breath)
  • 1x CAN FD Bus transceiver
  • 1x RS-485 Expansion bus controller
  • 9-axis Motion Tracking including 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis compass
  • 92-channel u-blox M9 engine GNSS receiver (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou constellations with ~1.5 meter accuracy)
  • Real Time Clock/Calendar, battery backed
  • AEC-Q100 Qualified for Automotive Applications
  • Forward & Reverse Input Protection to ± 40V
  • Lithium backed ESP
  • Digital/Analogue input protection
